Lined cups and plates
Lines are emotions, rhythms, and feelings.
How close can two lines approach one another? How far apart can they drift?
Porcelain coffee cups
When there’s nothing but white, is there really nothing to see? When I used 250g of clay to make these cups, they came out differently. Some are taller, some have a heavier bottom, they’re all different, but they all came out from a 250g ball of clay.
Light Yellow Cups
I hope you can enjoy drinking anything from this cup.
That’s all.
Western small bowls
Western bowls often come without a footring. These were designed for daily use, they are meant to be easy and functional. When I glazed them, I thought of the moon.
Inlayed plates
They came out differently than I thought. I was trying to copy another plate I had fired in 2022 but the slip I used was different. Still, I liked how the lines were carved, I used a Japanese wagashi utensil to carve the lines, and I love the varieties that it brings out.
The Woodfired Vase
For vessels, their appearance and meanings change with the things you put into them, they have a deep hollow space (of course) , they are full of possibilities- your vase can be someone else’s ashtray.
Black wood-fired series
My black series are unglazed. Raw and rough, it is not suitable for oily food, but you can feel it truly in your hands.
